Safeware Stand: F22
Safeware expands its market reach
Our trusted hardware team, Helen, Rob & Paul
With over 35 years of experience in the hardware supply sector, Safeware is strengthening its position in the industry by becoming an independent hardware supply partner. This strategic move allows the company to offer greater flexibility, innovation and tailored hardware solutions to meet the evolving needs of fabricators.

To mark its launch as an independent hardware supplier, Safeware will be making its debut at this year’s FIT Show, showcasing its extended product range and commitment to quality, reliability and customer-focused service. In an industry first, Safeware will also be bringing the market’s first smart locking solution for aluminium windows, demonstrating the Yale SensCheck™ on the new Stellar Heritage Casement.

Rob Hartill, Commercial Director at Safeware said: “We’re delighted to be bringing our hardware offer to the wider industry and are looking forward to demonstrating the value of our consultative approach to hardware supply. Plus, as an Epwin Group business, we have the backing of one of the biggest names in the window industry. It gives you peace of mind you’re working with a reliable supply partner.”

Safeware has an impressive offer for fabricators looking for a reliable hardware supplier. It stocks over 2,500 hardware products from over 70 leading brands. It picks 80,000 order lines and fulfils 12,000 orders every year with an OTIF rate of 98.4%. Every product is indicative tested in Safeware’s in-house testing facility and then independently tested by a UKAS accredited organisation, giving peace of mind that compliance is covered.

Alongside the product range, the company’s consultative approach adds even more value, and it uses its experience and expertise to offer valuable input and solve the most demanding technical challenges. Rob noted: “We get to know every customer, their business and their unique requirements so we can provide the solutions that are needed, meeting and exceeding expectations every time.”

The consultative approach even extends to developing bespoke hardware innovations for its customers. In fact, many of the products in its portfolio were originally developed by Safeware for specific customer needs. For example, it was the driving force behind innovations including the Safeware 7 and 8 door locking systems, the SFS Dynamic 2D hinge and Yale SensCheck™ smart window and door locks. Rob noted: “Our in-house technical expertise and strong partnerships with our hardware partners give our customers a decisive competitive advantage.”

Rob concluded: “We’re excited to begin this new chapter in our history and looking forward to meeting customers old and new at FIT.”

Safeware will be on stand F22 at the FIT Show, which runs 29 April to 1 May 2025 at the NEC in Birmingham.
